How do we experience time? Which warm or cool emotions and feelings momentarily fill our soul?This hourglass drawing which incorporates Baroque style forms is a self-portrait of the artist meditating on time. Unlike Bergson's time theory, that time is continuous, this drawing instead reflects on Bachelard's counter time theory and questions; time as segmented and measured personally by moments and marked by emotion. It also serves as a study for a sculpture of hourglasses, one filled with sky blue sand and the other with coral sand.
